About Us
The company, based in Ballymena, was established in 1981 with internet services added from 1998. The company has many years experience in the trade. Marion Kenny the Chief In-house Designer and owner of Nifty Thimble Costumes has supplied many satified customers, and charity/theatre groups including Add Up Group NI and Adapt theatre group and she has owned and managed other design labels including MarionJean and Cannicraft with customers from all over the world. She guarantees customer satisfaction and that each customised garment bought from Nifty Thimble Costumes increases in value over the years of ownership and that these can, and have, become valuable heirlooms.
The firm provides Businesses, Brides and Theatre & Dance groups as well as discerning individual buyers with professional costume design , manufacture and supply; and professional alteration , and costume-fitting services on-site (yes, we visit you!) or before purchase is made of the garments, by using our unique Bespoke fitting service. The fully-experienced and qualified staff ensure clients receive authentic, top-quality garments which are uniquely designed and can be made up and despatched inside 5 days for stock items and only within 21 days for customised items! - even for complicated formal/bridal items!
Customised items can be designed by you, the customer or by our In-house design team. This service is therefore unique as the services and products are designed to provide complete satisfaction every time and ourcompany is the only one of its kind anywhere all over Ireland or the UK.
If you represent a Theatre or Dance Group, then you can receive a free colour catalogue from the company. Just fax your details or leave them on the Contact Us page and we will despatch one straight away.Watch out too, for our Nifty trade-in service which we are launching later in 2009, useful for many theatre and drama groups.
